Illusionen – Auction

Description

Inspired by song lyrics that I encounter while painting, a LebensStücke series about youth, love and life has been created.
“Illusions” is the second of five paintings.

Illusions bloom in the summer wind.
Sprout blossoms that are so beautiful, yet so fleeting.
Only plucks them on your way the experience,
They wilt quickly.

Illusions float in the summer blue
There in the sky of your life, but you know exactly,
that cloudless dream of your imagination..,
Will never come true…

Illusions, blooming reality
To the dance of youth
A first breath of sorrow.
Will blow away

And then you ask yourself, “Why must this be?”
But life alone will tell you the answer.
In time, only when the years of your summer are gone,
Will you understand…
